Any way to keep cats from digging up lawn?

notchristina asked:

For whatever reason, the neighborhood cats LOVE to **** and *** on our lawn. They also dig it up with their claws when they scratch around. They act just like dogs, and now our front yard stinks, and our lawn has dirt patches and big patches of yellow where the cat urine killed the grass. Does anyone know of any good ways to keep cats off of the lawn?

Why do people think a farm is the best place to dump their cat?

Theresa A asked:

I own a duck farm. We raise poultry. And yet, people are continually dumping off their cats in my yard. I know they are ex-pet cats, because they want to get all friendly. The local shelters don’t TAKE cats, because they have too many already (I’ve tried taking in the god forsaken vermin that people keep dropping off). I’ve called in about them, and been told I can shoot any animal threatening my livestock (yeah, right. Like I could kill a cat.) So, why do people think a duck farm is the ideal re-location habitat for their stupid cats??? We’re up to something like twelve or fifteen, and GOD FORBID if these nasty little animals start breeding.
Did I say DUCK FARM? For the person who thinks I’m horrible, These little monsters eat Baby Ducks. And they Aren’t feral. They try to love up on me. UGH.

As for mice in the barn, I raise Muscovy ducks, and I own a beagle. They both love to hunt and eat mice and rats. We don’t want no kitties.

As for having them fixed? I know, I know, but I don’t have the money to run a farm, raise kids, and get every drop off that people feel like abandoning a full vet work up.

GTMCFARLAND asked:

I have several small vegetable gardens around the yard. There are a number of cats in the neighborhood who dig holes and do their business. I am looking for an easy and cheap way to keep the cats out of the garden, without using chemicals or injuring the cats. What works for this?

My cat peed on a photograph! How do I clean it off?

pinkandblack2662 asked:

My bengal peed on the corner of one of my photo albums. It’s the kind with the pocket you slip a photo into. It leaked through and got between the plastic and onto some of the photos. There is a light resedue left from the urine. These are regular 4×6 prints that were developed at a commercial lab and are between 4 to 6 years old.

I want to clean them off and save the photos but am worried about the photos being destroyed in the process. How can I safely remove the resedue?

What is the best cat litter for multiple cats?

swordarkeereon asked:

I was using Tidy Cat multiple cats, but I noticed the last batch I bought (I go through about 80 pounds of litter a month) - they changed the formula. It’s more course and doesn’t control odor as well. Now (since the litter changed), one of my four cats is ****** outside the litter box. Any suggestions for a finer clumping litter that controls odor better?
