I just got an 11 month old bengal cat, Iro, about a week ago. He still scared but he’s starting to feel comfortable with me, not my husband. He is terrified of him. My husband feeds him and tries to play with him but nothing. He never hissed at him but he did try to swat him. What is the best for him not fear and feel comfortable with my husband? Mind you, he is not neutered. I love this cat, I know he can be a good and just needs time but what can I do to make my cat like my husband and not is scared all the time.

Cat pees everywhere?

hawkstar92 asked:

I have a male (neutered), 5+ year old Bengal cat. He just started at the end of 2007 ****** everywhere! On coats, in boxes, on papers or files from file cabinets, on marble floors, even right next to his kitty litter box! I have an older cat and a younger cat also in the house-both neutered males whose get along fine with the Bengal. The kitty litter boxes are cleaned at least once every 2 days, have never been moved or changed (no new boxes), and there are at least 1.5 for each cat. In the time I’ve owned him (almost all of his life), he’s had UTI at least 3 times- but the vet says now he doesn’t have it. He has gone right in front of my relatives, but never in front of me or in my room. I’ve tried the spray bottle method, but it doesn’t work. Is there any way to stop my cat? (I’ve also tried scaring him away from the places he’s already peed in (he’s scared of everything) but it doesn’t work.)
Yes, he has been declawed since I got him neutered, which was the moment he was old enough to have it done. All three of my cats have been declawed and neutered and can roam around the house as they please. He has never shown interest in the outdoors, and he runs when I open the front door. Almost anything will scare him. He defiantly is a one person cat, but every relative that comes to my house is a relative he has known since I first got him. He is a cat that would rather run than go check things out; unless I’m there. I know he’s allergic to sea food, so he’s on a strict diet that hasn’t been changed. I’m pretty sure he’s not jealous; out of the three he probably gets the most attention. All my cats find water fascinating- until they have to touch it. He hates water the most and yowls like he’s dying during a bath. Would bathing him after I know he’s gone where he’s not supposed to stop his ******?

catsssss. heat. ahhh?

♥Sunshine♥ asked:

please please please no mean comments. this was completely accidental and i shooed the cat off as soon as i realized. ok, here goes.
my cat is normally an indoor cat, but loves to go outside one in a while. i put her outside one day, and after about 1 minute, i heard some furious yowling and hissing. ii went outside and saw a cat on top of my cat mating. i realized then that the yowling i heard the night before was my cat in heat. my question is possibly, even though he was on her for a minute, and then she started howling, is it possible that shes pregnant?
if it happened again, the same routine, would she be pregnant?
shes a pure-bred bengal cat and i was wondering if that happened each day for only a minute. would she be pregnant?

Queen Zola’s reign has begun?

Autumn R asked:

I just got a 2nd bengal cat. My first one, Iro, would cry all night, so after much research we decided to get another bengal. I went out all the way to Long Island to get her, Zola. After I pick her and we get back home, Iro freaks out when he sees us carrying a carrier. (I think he’s claustrophobic) goes running full speed underneath my bed. Then we put her in her own little enclosure so she can get use to the house and here comes, Iro, he seemed curious about her and the first thing she does is growls at him. I thought it because she does not know who he is. Can I get some insight about this solution?

You Are a Bengal Cat

You look wild, but deep down, you’re really quite sweet.
You are curious about the world around you, and you love to explore.

You liked to swim and climb trees as a kid… and probably still do!
You are confident and energetic. You are ready to take on the world.

How cute! Yup thats me!

Get answers from millions of real people?

bengal_lover2008 asked:

California law..
I have a question that I hope someone will have an answer to. Last Father’s Day, June 17, 2007, my two bengal cats were stolen; unfortunately, one bengal was hit by a car and killed. Luckily the other bengal cat was not injured. I suspected a neighbor of committing this horrible crime. My surviving bengal escaped on April 25, 2008 and has not been seen since. I spoke with this “cat killer” neighbor of mine and he stated my cat had been attacked by a “pack of squirrels” and was dead. Animal control officers interviewed this neighbor and found him to be “very uncoorporative”. Needless to say, the body of my bengal has not been found. As the law sees fit one needs an “eyewitness AND a confession” to these crimes. As I see it this neighbor has committed 3 counts of animal cruelty along with 3 counts of grand theft. The value of the bengal cats were $2000.00/ cat. How can I “prove” this neighbor did these unthinkable crimes AND what is the time this guy will get

my cat gets beat up ?

cookie asked:

I feel so bad, I have a 4 year old male bengal cat who is fixed, but with a strong personality !
I found a female kitten on the street 2 years ago, which I kept.
Both of them would get a long just fine most of the time.
Every night they lay on the couch and groom each other which is really really cute, but than sometimes my male bengal would bite his neck and the female wont mind til it gets to the point where he gets really possessive and he is one strong cat !!! And the female is very tiny.
And he would just hurt her or chase her.
It almost seems like he is trying to control her !
I adopted another cat 6 months ago, who’s about almost a year old now, female as well and she is fixed !
But my Bengal leaves her alone !
Every night all 3 of them lay on the couch and cuttle and groom each other and get along perfectly but sometimes it gets to that point where the Bengal tries to beat up the one female I fund on the street.
She is very shy too.
He is weird he’ll sit on top of her and tries to hold her down very hard.
I was thinking since she is not fixed he’s trying something there, lol
but he is fixed so I dont know…
I think the first two people are right, cause it really looks like that.
I tolld my Bengal so many times to stop it but he wont.
He’s not like any other.
He is very fearless he even tries to dominate my 95 lbs. Labrador mix.
I guess I’m going to get my female fixed and see if it gets better !

bladder infection for cat?

C C asked:

my cat had a bladder infection and we took her to the vet, and at first she discharged a green mucus, and then it was blood, and we got her medicine and she was fine. the first time she had it, she was really sick. like didn’t eat, if we picked her up she whined in pain and everything. she started to discharge again, after she had healed completly, so we gave her the rest of her medicine. then she started to bleed again, but now she just discharges a clear liquid. but the second time she was sick, she had no symptoms of being in pain. she actually had a larger appetite than before. she’s about a year old bengal cat and we only let her outside about once a month for about 2 hours. at first, we thought she was pregnant, but we can’t really afford to take her to the vet again. anyone know what’s wrong with her?
